Program Overview
The Travel Consulting and Sales program prepares students to work as professional travel consultants in the tourism industry. Students learn to assess client needs and expectations, present travel options, and recommend suitable destinations and services. Training includes destination knowledge, transportation and accommodation arrangements, customized travel packages, cruises, business and leisure travel planning, and travel insurance.
The program also develops competencies in administrative tasks such as reservations, billing, coordinating payments, and preparing travel documents. Students gain an understanding of international travel requirements, foreign currency, exchange rates, and traveler safety considerations. Strong emphasis is placed on customer service, professionalism, and adaptability in a constantly evolving travel industry.
